Are you ready to shape health, safety and environmental outcomes in some of the most complex and high-risk environments in Defence? We seek a technically skilled Health, Safety and Environmental lead advisor to drive excellence across operations. In this role, you'll develop and implement tailored protocols for specialised contexts, ensuring alignment with Defence and Commonwealth standards.
You'll guide risk assessments, incident investigations, and audit activities where precision and resilience are critical. Your expertise will advise on HSE considerations throughout the asset lifecycle, from capability planning to sustainment. You'll lead toolbox talks, mentor operational teams, and partner with stakeholders to embed a proactive, learning-focused safety culture.
This role demands a strong technical foundation, sound judgement, and influence at all levels. To be successful, you will bring an Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance, AQF Level 4 Qualification or Equivalent in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Risk Management, previous experience in a similar role, and proficiency in root cause analysis and incident investigation methodologies.
