Irrigation Technician Full Time | $95,000 – $110,000 | Moree region, NSW
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join a large-scale horticultural and broadacre farming business in North West NSW. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Installing, maintaining and servicing irrigation systems for agriculture and horticulture.
- Ensuring efficient operation and continued maintenance of drip irrigation systems in citrus production.
- Assisting with the design and installation of irrigation systems for new developments.
- Conducting flow rate testing and internal water audits.
- Repairing and maintaining pump sheds, irrigation and fertilizer pumps.
- Organising day-to-day dripline maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Supporting planting operations and establishment of young trees.
About You To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:
- AQF Certificate III (or equivalent), or at least 3 years of relevant experience in irrigation, horticulture or a related field.
- Proven ability to use tools and specialised equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of WHS obligations.
- Effective problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently and contribute as a team member.
- Good communication skills, reliability and a proactive work ethic.
