As part of our team, you will deliver high-quality, school-based mental health care and interventions for students. This is a progressional position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the lower classification with eligibility for progression to the next, once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. *About the Role
We are looking for a passionate
Social Worker
to join the Wellbeing Workforce team at
Eagleby Learning Centre
. In this role, you will be working within the school environment and collaborating with the school team under the guidance of regional clinical supervisors to provide exceptional care for students.
In This Role, You'll
* Provide tailored individual and group counselling to students, parents, and families to address personal or relationship concerns.
* Deliver professional social welfare assessments, interventions, and follow-up support as needed.
* Identify needs and coordinate referrals to community agencies, such as health and welfare services.
* Develop and implement strategies to engage parents/carers and the community in school activities and programs.
* Support school communities in responding to critical incidents as part of the school response team.
* Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing integrated support for students and families.
Experience in mental health and educational settings is highly valued.
