As a Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will oversee the dispensary, manage stock and PBS claims, supervise a pharmacy intern, and coordinate with other healthcare providers in a remote coastal town in north-west Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for:
* Oversight of the dispensary operations
* Management of stock and PBS claims
* Supervision of a pharmacy intern
* Coordination with other healthcare providers
You will be supported by a retail manager, an intern (almost completed hours), and pharmacy assistants. There is a second pharmacist in the town who can be called upon, but they are generally doing outreach work away from the pharmacy.
Skills Required
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a pharmacist (no PIC experience required)
* General (unrestricted) AHPRA registration
* Interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to make confident, autonomous clinical decisions
* Qualified vaccinator
Salary & Benefits
* $60/hr ($140K-$150K per annum, depending on Saturdays worked).
