Sante Recruitment is seeking a talented Clinical Director Anaesthetist (FANZCA) to join the North West Regional Hospital in Burnie, Tasmania.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a well-established Anaesthesia Department within a dynamic regional health service, supporting both high-quality patient care and medical education.
**About the Role**
- Lead a team of **15 Specialist Anaesthetists and 2 GP Anaesthetists**
- Provide specialist diagnosis, treatment, and anaesthesia services for public patients
- Deliver consultative anaesthetic support across multiple disciplines and two hospitals in the health service
- Contribute to education and training through the **University of Tasmania Rural Clinical School**, located on-site
- Ensure best practice clinical governance and patient safety standards
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (**FANZCA**)
- Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and mentoring ability
- Commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and professional development
