Make a meaningful impact on the future of mental health care in North Queensland. This is an opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Occupational Therapist to lead clinical education and capability development across our Mental Health Service Group.
About the Role
The Clinical Educator – Allied Health plays a key role in strengthening the capability, confidence and career pathways of the allied health workforce. You will contribute to high‐quality mental health care by:
* Delivering evidence‐based clinical education for allied health clinicians working in mental health.
* Providing discipline‐specific training and supporting the development of core and advanced competencies.
* Mentoring and supervising early‐career clinicians, including new graduates and pre‐entry students.
* Leading strategies that expand clinical placement capacity and support workforce growth.
* Designing, implementing and evaluating mental health education programs aligned with state and national priorities.
* Supporting a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement across the service.
About You
You bring strong clinical expertise in mental health, a passion for developing others, and the ability to translate evidence into practice. Experience in supervision, education, or workforce development will be highly regarded.

What You'll Need
* A tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
* Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification in health professional education would be highly regarded.
