State-wide Permanent Full Time or Part Time - Negotiable St.Giles Allied Health is excited to announce the upcoming expansion of our Dietetics service. To support this, we are looking for an Accredited Practising Dietitian with at least 2 years of clinical experience working in Paediatrics to join our statewide, multidisciplinary team. This position involves providing a range of dietitian services including assessment, education and focusing on tailored nutrition-based goals to improve the health and nutrition of infants, children and adolescents in our community. What working with St.Giles involves: Providing evidence-based nutrition assessment and management for a variety of nutritional concerns including faltering growth, selective and/or avoidant eating, tube feeding, coeliac disease, constipation and nutritional deficiencies Delivering parent and group education sessions Being able to work independently when required Collaborating with other allied health disciplines, especially Speech Pathology, to provide individualised care to our clients Communicating effectively with referrers and community partners Engage appropriately in supervision and other training/development opportunities both individually and in collaboration with our team, to help promote the outcomes for our families What we need to be able to get you on board: Current Accreditation with Dietitians Australia A genuine passion for wanting to help Tasmanian’s living with a disability and their families Experience working with vulnerable cohorts in a general capacity within the health, employment, education or disability sector Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based best practice standards for a range of presenting issues Proven capacity and ability to work with professional integrity and support vulnerable people An understanding of policies, procedures and regulations including mandatory reporting obligations Current driver’s licence National Police Check (no older than 3 months) Current or ability to apply for Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check Please send all enquires to stgiles.org.au or apply now by submitting a current resume and cover letter addressing the selection criteria.
