About the role
Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking two customer-focused hospitality professionals to join the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) as Casual Visitor Experience Team Members.
At BMEC, we believe the experience of our patrons starts well before the curtain rises and continues long after the final bow. As a Visitor Experience Team Member, you'll be more than just hospitality staff; you'll be part of the overall customer experience. From greeting guests with a warm smile to serving at the bar or assisting with events, you'll help create a welcoming and memorable experience for every visitor.
This casual role is ideal for someone looking to pick up extra hours and who thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. You'll be working across live shows, functions, and special events helping bring the energy, excitement, and comfort that makes BMEC a true entertainment destination.
Key Requirements
* A genuine passion for customer service and creating great guest experiences
* Previous experience in food and beverage service
* Willingness to obtain a valid NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) if you don't already have one
* Friendly, approachable, and professional presentation
* Reliable and available for flexible hours including weekdays, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and school/university breaks
* Physically able to assist with event setup and pack-down
* Comfortable handling cash and EFTPOS transactions

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug & alcohol screen.
Hourly Rate: $35.37 per hour + weekend / public holiday penalty rates + super
Position Status: Casual
