Jay Jays is part of the Myer Group, encompassing several of Australia's most recognised apparel brands - including Dotti, Jacqui E, Just Jeans and Portmans.About the RoleReporting to the Planning Manager and being an integral contributor to the Brand's Leadership Team, this key role requires a proven leader who can demonstrate both technical and operational planning expertise.Working in conjunction with the Planning Manager and key Brand stakeholders, this role is responsible for interpreting the brand strategy and financial KPIs, and developing a financial plan to maximise the brand's performance, through leading and managing the plan and the Planning team.Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Work with the Planning Manager to coordinate and lead key planning processes such as post season analysis, seasonal strategy and budgeting, monthly forecasts and set and manage the brand planning timetableEnsure your own categories meet all key planning cycle milestonesAssist with the creation of seasonal brand budget inclusive of adjusted history, store activity, Online and DFO budgetsSupport and collaborate to action in season re-budgets/replans and rebuild as requiredWork with the Planning Manager controlling the brand and department stock levels through OTB management and management of aged inventoryEnsure completion of all in-season and ongoing planning activities for all departmentsAssist with leading, motivating, and developing the planning, inventory and allocations teamsSkills & Experience4 years + working in a Senior Planning role or similarExcellent working knowledge of Excel & Just Group planning systemsKnowledge of the retail industry with proven experience within women's business/categoriesA thorough understanding of the relevant KPIs to succeedStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGenerous staff discount and access to our sample salesCentral office location based on St Kilda Rd, with direct access to the picturesque Fawkner ParkWork closely within a high performing, supportive and collaborative environmentEngage in continuous learning and development programs to enhance your skills and foster personal and professional growthCoffee lover?
