qualified Fitter & Turner
with welding/fabrication skills to keep our Council assets in top condition. This role covers a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on both fixed and mobile equipment, including earthmoving machinery, pumps, combustion engines, landscaping gear, street-sweeping vehicles, and structures.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
Experience in repairing and maintaining plant equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Manufacturing, assembly and machining of parts and equipment from raw materials
Cutting, drilling, welding & grinding of various materials
Experience in welding/fabrication on mobile plant and various structures
