Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for all employees
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
- Process new hires and terminations, including calculating final payments and issuing appropriate paperwork
- Prepare and distribute payslips and other relevant documentation
- Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and laws
- Generate and submit required payroll reports to management and relevant authorities
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accuracy and consistency across employee records and payroll data
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
