Home Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives. You will be working with individuals who require assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, social support, and domestic assistance.
You will need to be proactive in supporting clients with unique needs and preferences, and be able to commit to work arrangements required to attend to their physical, psychological, and social support needs.
We offer flexibility for work within school hours with the casual position, and our aim is to roster with permanent shifts.
Requirements
* National Police Check (less than a year old if not NDIS Worker Screening Check)
* Driver's License
* Comprehensively insured, registered, and well-maintained car
* Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline
* Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
We also prefer candidates with NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check.
Remuneration
We pay SCHADS award wages with generous allowances pro rata to the jobs attended for the casual rates of a home support worker.
Selection Criteria
* Registered, road-worthy, and insured vehicle
* Available at any time during the daytime, on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday morning to afternoon
* Demonstrated ability to perform tasks referred to in the position overview
* Alignment with company values
* Ability to meet compliance and qualification criteria referred to in the requirements
