Job Description
We are seeking a Facilities and Assets Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day management of properties on behalf of a government agency.
This role will see you based in Mount Gambier in a permanent full-time position, where you will work with diverse stakeholders to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs.
* Identify areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works.
* Support the delivery of Asset Business Plans and all other strategic initiatives.
* Analyse regular call-outs, reactive maintenance, and requests to inform asset maintenance plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain properties on behalf of the government agency.
2. Develop and implement plans to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs.
3. Monitor and direct contractor performance.
4. Assist with audits and inspections.
5. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
