Exciting Opportunity for Senior Software Developer to join our reputed client.
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highquality software solutions on various platforms that make up the management ecosystem at Client place, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Ellucian, Salesforce, and MuleSoft. This role provides technical leadership, ensuring best practices in software development, integration, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
1.Contribute to strategic planning and the establishment of new or improved organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for software development
1. Manage and take accountability for all stages and iterations of software development including: planning and driving software construction activities, adopting and adapting appropriate software development methods, ensuring that requests for support are dealt with in accordance with agreed procedures, using application management software and tools to investigate issues
2. Provide specialist advice and guidance to less experienced team members, leading reviews of the work of others and providing subject matter expertise to projects
3. Manage testing programs, which may include: reviewing requirements and specifications, defining test conditions and designing test cases and scripts under own direction, mapping back to determined criteria, recording analysing and reporting test activities and outcomes, identifying and reporting on issues and risks
4. Apply data analysis, design, modelling and quality assurance techniques, based on a detailed understanding of business processes, to establish, modify or maintain data structures and associated components including advising database designers and application development teams on details and modifications
Qualifications
1.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures; languages such as Java, Python or ; API development; data handling technologies such as SQL, NoSQL; DevOps and CI/CD pipelines with the ability to learn and develop on new SaaS platforms.
1. Experience in designing and implementing data models that support transactional integrity, functional configurability, and performance.
2. Familiarity with workflow and case management-based business solutions.
3. Substantial experience in the delivery of quality software development and construction practices, including front and back end development on SaaS based platforms.
4. Demonstrated skills in front-end frameworks to build user-facing extensions with a strong understanding of UX/UI best practices to enhance usability.
5. Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing priorities, implementing improvements and meeting deadlines
6. Highly developed relationship management and consulting skills, including the ability to mentor, influence and negotiate with a variety of customers and stakeholders
7. Excellent analytical and evaluation skills including demonstrated experience in problem solving and trouble-shooting in a test environment
