We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join an established Wodonga GP clinic in a job share capacity. Working collaboratively with the existing Practice Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of this busy practice of six GPs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive individual to contribute to a thriving practice while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time, job share role.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations, including staff management, roster and resource allocation
* Ensure compliance with General Practice accreditation agencies and national standards
* Collaborate with your job share partner to maintain continuity of leadership and decision-making
* Support the delivery of excellent patient services, handling complaints and feedback effectively
* Drive quality improvement initiatives and implement practice policies
* Liaise with external stakeholders, such as PHN, other medical bodies and suppliers
About You
* Proven experience in healthcare management, ideally within a GP practice
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations, Medicare, financial management and HR processes
* Ability to work collaboratively in a job share arrangement, ensuring seamless handover
* Proficiency in practice management software (e.g. Best Practice) is desirable
* Commitment to patient-centred care and improving practice performance
