YOUR NEW ROLE
Working from our Orange office as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. Your clinical expertise and guidance will be pivotal in supporting individuals to regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.
Responsibilities
* Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole‐of‐person approach to rehabilitation.
* Complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
* Use lateral thinking and forward‐planning skills to identify potential return‐to‐work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones.
* Utilise problem‐solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
* Work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
* Present case information to various stakeholders, providing credible recommendations and solutions to drive the desired goal.
Requirements
* Full AHPRA Registration as Occupational Therapist.
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Current driver's licence and access to own transport.
* Full Australian working rights.
