The Knauf Insulation APAC region has its headquarters in Brisbane and services Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. The Knauf Insulation head office in Australia comprises regional functions for Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources. The functions provide a range of services to both internal and external stakeholders on a national, multi country and regional level. 
Knauf Insulation Asia-Pacific (KI APAC) is now looking for a dynamic HR Project & Data Officer to join our team in Brisbane, reporting solid line to the Finance Director APAC of Knauf Insulation (KI) and dotted line to the plant HR Manager in Malaysia.

What you’ll be doing 
This unique role combines the operational responsibilities of an HR Data Officer with the coordination of HR regional projects to deploy. You will be instrumental in delivering day-to-day HR services while supporting impactful HR projects for the APAC region that align with our business objectives, being the first point of contact for HR-related queries, offering guidance to employees and managers. 
Your responsibilities also include: 
- Compensation & Payroll: Support payroll processes, manage headcount, people costs within the yearly budget across APAC, with particular focus on Australia. 
- Compensation & Payroll: Oversee grading, promotions, and ensure fair compensation practices for APAC Region. 
- Compensation & Payroll: Provide data-driven insights to support business decisions and optimize HR processes across APAC. 
- HR Operations & Legal Compliance: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and manage performance reviews. 
- HR Operations & Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and collaborate with legal teams as needed. 
- HR Operations & Legal Compliance: Implementation and management of local OH&S; policies. 
- HR Projects for the APAC Region: Implement HR projects regionally, such as employer branding, talent management, and development initiatives. 
- HR Projects for the APAC Region: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. 
- HR Projects for the APAC Region: Enhance employee engagement and retention through targeted initiatives and action plans. Leads the deployment of the yearly process. 
What we’d love for you to have

- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, with exposure to both operational, data and project management responsibilities. 
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations. 
- Strong data analytics experience and excel/tableau or equivalent management. 
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results. 
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
