The successful applicant will be responsible for providing direction, technical support and development to our Rydalmere Workshop team.Key DutiesLead and coordinate a small Workshop teamEnsure high standards of workmanship throughout the Workshop are maintained, with positive mentoring and leading by example.Provide regular updates to the Workshop Supervisor to ensure timelines are met and communication is maintained.Workshop installations and pre‐delivery inspection duties for all new or used cranes and hook loadersFabrication and installation of subframes from design to development and manufactureService duties of new and used vehicle loading cranes and hook loadersCompletion of all job documentationAlways working in a safe manner and adhering to site policies and procedures to enhance the safety culture and performance of the site.Required QualificationsPrior experience in a Leading Hand role working in a similar industryHold a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical, Fabrication Trade, or equivalentExperience working on heavy vehiclesExperience with cranes and/or hook loaders an advantageAbility to interpret drawings and proceduresStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to work safelyGood time management and work prioritisation skillsCurrent Driver's licence (H or HR preferable)Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical and a National Police CheckWhat We OfferA competitive salary packageAccess to employee benefits account including discounts on groceries, electronics and moreAccess to Employee Assistance ProgrammeAccess to an annual Health and Wellbeing reimbursement programmeMonday to Friday rosterSupportive team and a clean, organised Workshop environmentSeniority level Mid‐Senior levelEmployment type Full‐timeJob function Management and Manufacturing; Industries: Motor Vehicle Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
