The Role This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee kitchen operations while building strong connections with residents and your team. You will: Lead and supervise a team of 3 consisting of kitchen hands and Food Services Assistants (FSAs) Oversee meal preparation within a cook-chill model transitioning to fresh cook later this year Support, train and guide a growing FSA team Ensure high standards of food safety, quality, and presentation Engage with residents. This is a people-facing role, not just kitchen-based Work closely with management to improve kitchen operations and service delivery What We’re Looking For Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (essential) Proven experience leading or supervising a kitchen team Strong communication skills. Confident engaging with residents and staff A collaborative, hands-on leadership style Open to chefs outside aged care.
