Senior Site Manager
I have partnered with a well-established and highly regarded developer-builder in Brisbane who are preparing to commence a new project in an inner‐city suburb. They are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead site operations from early works through to successful completion.
This is a confidential appointment and presents an outstanding opportunity to join a respected organisation delivering high-quality, design-driven projects in a premium Brisbane location.
The project consists of 1 tower, 75 luxury apartments, 20 story, 4 basements and valued at $120M. The duration of the project is for 3 years, with future developments in the pipeline following this.
You will be reporting to the Project Manager and will work closely with the Construction Manager and Director. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site management, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilisation to handover
* Drive programme adherence and proactively manage sequencing and subcontractor coordination
* Maintain strict WHS compliance and promote a strong safety culture
* Oversee quality assurance, inspections and defect management
* Manage subcontractor performance, productivity and accountability
* Liaise with consultants, stakeholders and senior management to ensure smooth project delivery
* Provide leadership and mentorship to site teams and junior supervisors
About You
* 5+ years' experience in a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager role
* Proven track record delivering multi‐residential or large‐scale commercial projects
* Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and buildability
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* High attention to detail with a focus on quality finishes
* Solid knowledge of QLD building regulations and WHS requirements
