About the role
This role reports to the Senior Manager of Governance and Reporting in our Personal Injury Division. Its primary purpose is to oversee the onboarding, renewal, and governance of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement, cybersecurity, IT, risk, and regulatory standards. The role involves working closely with internal teams to manage supplier supervision and monitoring programs. Key responsibilities include:
1. Assessing suppliers for onboarding, including risk-based tiering and governance levels, through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Overseeing end-to-end supplier onboarding, contract renewals, variations, document execution, governance, and offboarding processes.
3. Negotiating with suppliers to create value in customer experience, quality, and spend.
4. Working with the Cyber Governance team to manage supplier cyber vulnerabilities and develop cyber remediation plans, ensuring timely risk mitigation actions.
5. Maintaining accurate records of supplier agreements, risk assessments, compliance documentation, and monitoring routines, including cyber security testing, audits, and insurances.
6. Facilitating supervision and monitoring routines to ensure supplier activities align with SLAs and Statements of Work.
7. Analyzing supplier partnership effectiveness and implementing improvement plans for non-compliant or underperforming suppliers.
8. Collaborating with the National Claims Team, Branch and Team Leaders, and Injury Management Specialists to promote awareness of contractual and legislative requirements and steer claims appropriately.
9. Supporting supplier relationship management to ensure alignment with organizational goals and expectations.
About you:
* Proven experience in supplier/vendor management, procurement, or contract administration, with a strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance, preferably in financial services.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels with clarity and impact.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, IT systems, and risk management is highly advantageous.
* Experience in Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Governance, Legal, Compliance, or Regulatory Assurance.
* High attention to detail, especially regarding compliance and regulatory standards.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing supplier issues.
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
* Effective planning, prioritization, and organizational skills to manage multiple demands.
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
