KeySelection Criteria:

1. Experience in the development and implementation of effective regulatory operational policies and processes, particularly in relation to the mining assessment or similar function.
2. Demonstrated experience in problem solving and analytical thinking, with particular emphasis on the exercise of logic, reasoning, and sound judgement in the development and implementation of regulatory decisions.
3. Sound understanding of the mining industry, the major issues, trends and developments in the industry and the implications for the future direction.
4. Sound understanding of South Australian mining legislation, relevant environmental legislation, regulatory policies and processes.
EssentialQualifications:
5. Degree in Science, Environmental Management or Engineering related to the resources industry.
Remuneration:
PO2, $85,665 - $94,801 per annum
Full-time role,working 37.5 hours per week
SpecialConditions:
6. This is a 12-month term position
7. Some out of hours work may be required
8. DEM encourages flexible working arrangements such as working from home, part time work, job share, compressed weeks and purchased leave. Arrangements are negotiated with the appropriate manager
