About the OPPORTUNITY We are currently looking for multiple Stores Persons based at RAAF BASE Williamtown. As a Storesperson you will be responsible for supply and logistics operations in accordance with company standard and procedures and any respective customer service agreement/s. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: * Unload and load consignments – forklift operations. * Receive, inspect and receipting of incoming goods and materials. * Picking, packing and dispatch of materials to operational areas. * Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement. * Manage incoming and outgoing calibrations. * Manage hazardous chemicals. * Comply with WHS requirements, including manual handling and forklift operations. * Ensure correct storage, handling and labelling of materials in accordance with procedures. * Conduct regular stock counts and assist with discrepancy investigations. About YOU * Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Essential). * Forklift License LF/LO (Essential) * Ability to undertake a B shift (if required). * Understanding of ITAR requirements. * Knowledge of SAP based programs. * Excellent excel knowledge. * Elevated Work Platform (EWP) (desirable). * Dangerous Goods qualifications, (desirable). * Cert II, III or IV in Transport and Logistics (preferred). * Excellent communication skills at all levels. * Previous experience in a similar role. * Ability to undertake physical demanding tasks. Tasks may include standing for long periods of time, undertaking repetitive motions, lifting between 16-20kg safely, engaging in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling Items.
