We're looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to help grow Armstrong Real Estate's rental portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with strong property management knowledge who enjoys building long-term relationships with investors, builders and key stakeholders.
This role is about being visible in the market, having meaningful conversations, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
About the Role
As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding our rent roll by sourcing new business, conducting rental appraisals and guiding investors through the leasing process.
You'll work closely with our Property Management team to ensure a seamless transition from appraisal to lease to ongoing management, while contributing to strategic growth planning and market presence.
This role suits someone who is commercially minded, proactive and relationship-focused.
What You'll Be Doing
Actively sourcing and securing new investment properties to grow the rent roll
Conducting rental appraisals for investors, builders and developers
Building and maintaining strong relationships with Residential Rental Providers, builders and land agents
Supporting investors through the letting process before handover to the Property Management team
Contributing to short, medium and long-term growth planning with Management
Providing regular market updates and insights to key stakeholders
Representing Armstrong Real Estate at networking events and industry functions
Supporting process improvement, automation and smooth internal handovers
Who We're Looking For
You'll be a strong fit if you:
Have property management experience and solid knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
Are motivated by growth, results and relationship building
Are confident speaking with investors and stakeholders
Are organised, proactive and comfortable working to KPIs
Communicate clearly, professionally and with confidence
Are committed to delivering exceptional client experiences
A current Agent's Representative Certificate is required, and a background in real estate is essential for this role.
