Senior Payroll Officer Role Summary

Due to growth and internal progression, they're seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join their payroll function and help lead the delivery of timely, accurate, and compliant payroll services across a large employee base.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end payroll management for a multi-site workforce
* Interpretation and implementation of awards, employment agreements, and relevant legislation
* Supporting junior payroll team members and knowledge sharing
* Collaboration with HR and Finance on reporting, audits, and system updates
* Process improvements to streamline payroll delivery
Requirements:
* Proven experience in end-to-end payroll, preferably in a high-volume environment
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, and tax
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Confidence in using payroll systems (e.g. Aurion, SAP, Chris21)
* A team player with a proactive mindset and strong communication skills
