Senior Social Worker - Acute Care


A key role exists within our organisation for a skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive support to individuals, families and teams facing complex health and social challenges.



About the Opportunity


This senior position offers the opportunity to deliver high-level Social Work services across a variety of clinical and community settings, contributing contemporary, trauma-informed practice, undertaking psychosocial assessment and intervention, and ensuring care is delivered with compassion, professionalism and strong ethical reasoning.



* Sound clinical judgment is required, along with the ability to remain calm and focused in demanding situations, and a commitment to reflective practice and continual growth.

* Effective working relationships will be built with internal teams and key community partners, including emergency responders, child protection, domestic and family violence services, NDIS providers and other support organisations, to ensure safe, coordinated and person-centred care pathways.

A permanent full-time role as a day worker, with 76 hours worked per fortnight, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of others.



* Salary: $110,425 - $121,907 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) plus 12% employer superannuation

* Relocation assistance up to $10,000 for eligible interstate candidates

About You


To be successful in this role you will require:



* Tertiary qualification in Social Work

* Current Working with Children Registration

* Full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

* Strong skills in psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and patient-centred care

* Must have Australian Working Rights



Desirable qualities include postgraduate qualifications or progression toward postgraduate study, and current Driver's Licence.
