About this exciting role:
Based out of our Dalby branch and Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Spare Parts Manager plays a vital role in supporting the operations, sales, and distribution within our parts department. You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the department — from ordering and receiving stock, to packing and shipping, to ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of orders. This role has a shared responsibility between our Dalby and Goondiwindi branches and travel between the two will be required.
What you’ll be doing:
* Be the go-to contact for all product enquiries and manage customer expectations around pricing and availability.
* Ensure smooth execution of daily parts activities — including sales, back orders, forward orders, stock transfers, and distribution.
* Manage inventory and maintain a clean, well-organised parts department, including proper shelving and stock placement.
* Stay up to date with new products, product changes, and improvements — keeping your team and customers informed.
* Accurately input invoices, raise purchase orders, and ensure prompt processing of purchases, sales, and credits.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with our valued customers, providing outstanding service every time.
Who are you:
* You’ve got a sharp eye for detail, you’re well-organised, and you take pride in getting things done efficiently.
o You’ve had experience working with parts and/or inventory systems.
o Customer service is your thing — you enjoy helping others and have a strong work ethic.
o You’re a team player who also works well independently when needed.
o You’re confident using Office 365 and modern computer systems.
o You hold a current driver’s licence.
