Farm Assistant
Our Farm team is looking for a skilled and motivated assistant to support our farm operations. As a Farm Assistant, you will be responsible for contributing to crop production and disposal, machinery operation, maintenance of tools and equipment, care and supervision of livestock, receipt and storage of supplies, and general farm maintenance.
* Crop production and disposal: Assist with planting, harvesting, and managing crops to ensure optimal yields and quality.
* Machinery operation: Operate and maintain various types of farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe use.
* Maintenance of tools and equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm tools and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
* Care and supervision of livestock: Care for and supervise livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health to ensure their well-being.
* Receipt and storage of supplies: Receive and store supplies, such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, in a safe and organized manner.
* General farm maintenance: Assist with general farm maintenance tasks, such as repairing fences and buildings, to ensure the overall appearance and functionality of the farm.
This is a part-time role that requires good planning and prioritizing skills, as well as effective communication skills to work with others. If you have experience in farm management and are able to work independently, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
