About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AMO Training Manager to lead the development, coordination, and maintenance of the LifeFlight's Engineering Training Program. Working with the Maintenance Manager and GM'S of Maintenance, the Training Manager will be a key focal point for all Apprenticeship training, mentoring and pastoral support. This critical role ensures compliance with the requirements outlined in LifeFlight's Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) Exposition.
This full-time role is located at our state of the art Maintenance Centreat Archerfield. The facility spans 5000sqm and is the largest hangar complex to be built at Archerfield Airport. We are looking for a candidate with a solid technical background and demonstrated expertise in delivering and managing training programs. You will play a key role in shaping and sustaining a high-quality training framework that supports operational excellence across our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

* Establish and maintain the training program for the Part 145 AMO.
* Management and coordination of company and AMP initial and ongoing training requirements.
* Maintenance of training records in the Gannet system; provide reports on training performance
* Facilitating training needs analysis, training assessment and course management
* Serve as the key point of contact for all Apprenticeship training, mentoring, and pastoral support, working collaboratively with the Maintenance Manager and GMs of Maintenance.
About You

To be successful in this role, we will be looking for the following skills and attributes:
* A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* Strong knowledge of safety management systems, principles, and Human Factors
* Proven experience in training delivery and/or training management within the aviation industry
* A solid understanding of CASA Part 66 licensing requirements, as well as Part 145 and Part 147 Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) frameworks
* Demonstrated experience in the design, development, implementation, and facilitation of technical training programs
* A technical background in Engineering or a related field
* Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to support a team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
