Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to successfully plan, report and support the execution of hardware engineering projects within our dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible supporting a number of parallel projects and planning for new projects. A typical day will include budgeting, reporting of project status to different levels of audience and ensuring team members have a clear view of project status.
Key Responsibilities
Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure adherence to these plans.
Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular project meetings to review status, address issues, and ensure alignment.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably related to new product development.
Strong understanding of hardware design and development processes.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
Working Conditions
Full-time position based in our office with occasional travel to project sites as required.
