Welcome to Primary Connect+ (PC+)
Primary Connect+ is our retailer-agnostic, technology-driven commercial business within Primary Connect. Our team works together to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions for more than 1,300 food and retail customers. This role sits in our Finance team.
The Opportunity
This is a 10 month secondment opportunity to support an exciting accelerator business within the group and play an significant role in bringing to life financial, operational and strategic goals for PC+. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager- PC+, this position will be responsible for, but not limited to, end to end financials of the warehousing revenue stream, broader investment case reviews and detailed data analytics.

What you’ll do
- Analyse financial data for the DCs and understand the drivers of the Warehousing business within PC+
- Effectively communicate analysis and insights to stakeholders by providing information in a clear, compelling and concise manner
- Lead end to end business case reviews of projects including scenario modelling
- Identify and elevate internal control risks and establish internal control system improvements
- Support the overall PC+ and B2B P&L; as required.
- Drive cross functional alignment on analysis and influence business stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Finance related degree and/or working towards a professional qualification (CPA or CA equivalent)
- 5+ years experience in a commercial role
- Ability to communicate financial information to a broad (often non financial) audience and make the complex simple
- Comfortable with ambiguity that comes with working within an ever-changing business
