About the role
Remcon Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Leading Hand/Site Foreman to join our team on the Gold Coast. This is a full-time position with a company vehicle that will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing remedial construction projects from start to finish. As the Leading Hand/Site Foreman, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of the construction team, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to the highest standards. Remcon is a rapidly growing company who is passionate about repairing buildings to the highest standards and going above and beyond for our clients.

What you'll be doing
* Supervise and coordinate the work of the construction team, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow
* Monitor and maintain health and safety standards on site, conducting regular risk assessments
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
* Prepare progress reports and provide updates to the project manager
* Identify and resolve any problems or bottlenecks that arise during the construction process
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
* Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience as a Leading Hand or Site Foreman in the construction industry
* Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, delegating tasks effectively
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders
* Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
* Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
* Relevant experience in construction
