Your new role
In this position, you will undertake a broad range of labouring duties within the construction and maintenance environment of Council’s Urban Operations unit. Your responsibilities will extend across pipe installation, road repairs, concreting, and the safe and efficient operation of vehicles, machinery, and hand tools.
Working as part of a multi-disciplined team, you will contribute to the construction and ongoing to the construction and ongoing assets, ensuring all works are delivered to recognised standards and in line with Council’s commitment to quality and safety.

* Demonstrated Civil construction and maintenance labouring experience.
* Team player who can work independently, show accountability and take initiative.
* Represent Council with professionalism and provide excellent customer service
* Ability to contribute to and uphold Council’s Safety-First culture.
* Practical knowledge and hands on-experience in the safe use of small machinery and hand tools
