We are in the market for an experienced and qualified LandscapeArchitect professional with a minimum of 5+ years'experience. You are passionate about your profession and enjoy therewards of a good challenge. As a Landscape Architect in a small team of professionals, youwill support the landscape design and project delivery functionsfor the City's streetscape and public open space developmentprograms. The team plays an important role in serving the communitythrough the coordination of key internal and external meetings andworkshops, engagement opportunities and attending to communityenquiries. The team also provides expert landscape design advice toand on behalf of the organisation, through commenting on futureproposals for landscape upgrades within Mandurah.

What can you bring to the team?
- Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or relevant equivalenttertiary qualification.
- A current unrestricted "C-A" (Automatic) or"C-B" (Manual) class national driver'slicence.
- Provide specialist Landscape Architectural planning, designand project delivery advice to and on behalf of theorganisation on urban enhancement projects includingstreetscape improvement schemes and public open spacedevelopment.
- Prepare reports or presentations to Council, Executive andcommunity with regard to landscape design proposals suggestedto be implemented within Mandurah.
- Undertaking research, investigation and evaluation of newproducts and services that may improve the amenity of publicopen space in Mandurah.
- Liaise with Built and Natural Environment staff, staff fromother Directorates, developers and residents to provideinformation, advice and assistance with regard to landscapedesign.
- Lead and/or support community engagement processesinitiated by the City related to design of capital program inCity managed Public Open Space.
- Provide project management support for delivery of theCity's annual Park's Open Space capitalprogram.
- Strong project management skills with the ability tomulti-task and manage complex timelines, ensuring agreedproject targets are met and variations in delivery areeffectively reported.
- Facilitating and/or supporting the procurement and contractawarding process for projects ensuring council policies arefollowed and adhered to.
- Managing procurement and tender processes, contractormanagement, and project budgets.
- Reviewing completed projects and reporting against how wellthey address the design parameters established by the initialproject brief.
- Provide landscape assessment advice on detailed proposals,development applications including POS, commercial, industrialand multi-residential, and Building Licence applications fromprivate developers.
- Lead and/or support master planning processes to inform andstage complex and long-term projects.

The finer details
This permanent full-time Level 6 position attracts a pro-ratasalary range of $98,345 to $106,287 gross per annum dependent onqualifications and experience.
