About the Role
Sonic HealthPlus is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our Operations team, supporting the Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) contract.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for end‐to‐end contract negotiation and management, ensuring compliance, optimising commercial outcomes, and supporting business growth. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and Australian Defence Force client groups to deliver high‐quality, compliant, and commercially sound contract outcomes.
This role requires a high level of professionalism, stakeholder engagement, and attention to detail, contributing to Sonic HealthPlus' reputation as a leader in health logistics and occupational health services.
Key Responsibilities Contract Negotiation & Management
* Lead contract negotiations including terms, conditions, and pricing
* Manage the full contract lifecycle from onboarding through to close
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and DFR requirements
* Liaise with legal teams on contract development and approvals
* Communicate contract requirements clearly across the business
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong relationships with internal teams, SMEs, and external clients
* Liaise with DFR stakeholders and partner organisations (e.g. Adecco)
* Provide high‐quality customer service to ADF client groups
* Facilitate regular contract reviews and stakeholder meetings
* Monitor contract performance, compliance, and risk; Provide reporting, analysis, and insights to stakeholders
Gather and collate data from multiple sources, performing analysis, and creating accurate, insightful reports to support informed decision‐making
* Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Ensure adherence to company policies and quality management systems
* Support pricing reviews and financial modelling
* Provide forecasting and analysis to support decision‐making
* Ensure financial accuracy in contractual documentation

About You
You are a commercially astute and detail‐oriented professional with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. You thrive in a fast‐paced, compliance‐driven environment and bring a proactive, solutions‐focused approach.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in contract management or procurement
* Strong commercial negotiation and analytical skills
* Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and organisational capability
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and DocuSign
Qualifications & Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or related discipline
* Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government Security Clearance (you must be an Australian Citizen)
* Current National Police Clearance
* Understanding of compliance frameworks and regulated environments
