**Golden Roast Adelaide is looking for a Function organiser and Cleaner ahead of a busy season.**
I'm looking for a great cleaner and someone who is very organised and has great attention to detail. You will be required on Mondays and Thursdays. On Monday you can come at any time that suits you and on Thursday it will be anytime after 3pm.
Monday is the cleaning day where you will come in and clean all the plates and cutely from the weekend that has just gone by. You will also clean tea towels and tablecloths on this day to ensure they are ready to be packed on Thursday. After cleaning you will be required to to sweep and mop the clean up area and general areas. Some days I'll need you to clean the spits that have been used over the weekend as well. Hours for this day will vary depending on how busy the week was.
On Thursdays you will pack for the upcoming functions on the weekend. This is broken down into two sections and what we call the "dry boxes" and the "wet boxes".
The dry box consists of all the dry goods the chefs need to complete a function. (You will have a checklist) This includes things like gloves, tea towels, salt, pepper, business cards, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins etc. The wet box consists of all the food/ingredients the chefs will need to complete their function. For example the meats, grazing table ingredients, coleslaw, potatoes, pumpkin etc. Again you will have a list of what is needed in each function to make it super easy for your. We label our parties from 1 to however many we have on that week. So if we had 5 functions on it would be from party 1- party 5. Meaning you would prepare 5 dry boxes which you will label 'party 1', 'party 2', 'party 3' etc and you would prepare 5 wet boxes also labeled party 1', 'party 2', 'party 3' etc. this is so when the chefs come in they can see exactly what boxes they need to take for their designated function/party.
It will be your job to organise each function. This is a very crucial job and you need to have great attention to detail to do this. I say this because if you miss something and a function is 2hrs away it can put the whole team in a very stressful situation. However, if you take your time and double check the checklists given to you it really is hard to mess it up
The job is part time and some weeks will be busier than others. From October
- December hours will increase Significantly.

- Cleaning plates and cutely
- Sweeping and Mopping
- Ensuring all tea towels and tablecloths are
- Cleaned and put back ready to be packed
- Cleaning Spits/ portable ovens
- Organising upcoming functions by completing the dry box and wet box for each function
- Filling up Gas bottles
