The Role
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Carer to join our team at Parry Care Centre in Lesmurdie. This fixed-term role ends on 15th April 2026, offering 53.9 hours per fortnight. If you enjoy sharing a laugh and providing care with your skills, we’d love to hear from you!
Week 1
Monday: 0700 - 1300
Tuesday: 0700 - 1515
Wednesday: 0700 - 1515
Saturday: 1500 - 2100
Week 2
Monday: 0700 - 1500
Tuesday: 0700 - 1515
Wednesday: 0700 - 1515
Sunday: 1600 - 2100
Please note, availability for all shifts is required to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents' physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through personalized care
* Assist with care needs in accordance with care plans
* Support mobilization and transfers of residents
* Collaborate with team members to promote a positive work environment
* Advocate for residents' rights
* Assist with personal hygiene, showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, and feeding
* Administer medications as per profiles
* Maintain effective communication within the workplace
About You
You will build strong relationships with residents and deliver care with compassion, integrity, and dignity. Your role is vital in providing a homely environment and enhancing residents' quality of life.
Essential Criteria
* Certificate III in Aged Care
* Effective communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience administering medications
* Valid Police Clearance (no older than 6 months)
* NDIS Screen Check or willingness to obtain
* Current Flu and Covid vaccinations (x3)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
* Availability for a 1-week induction at Rivervale Training Institute
