Immigration Lawyer
As part of continued growth, the firm is seeking an Immigration Lawyer (Associate) or Registered Migration Agent (RMA) to play a central role in its client service and case management function.
This role offers genuine career progression, autonomy, and exposure to a broad range of migration matters. You will manage your own caseload while being supported by experienced lawyers, RMAs, and administrative staff. Over time, the role can evolve to include senior responsibilities, team supervision, and strategic involvement in business development, depending on your interests and performance.
This position is ideal for a confident practitioner who enjoys ownership of matters, values high-quality work, and wants to deepen their expertise within a supportive, long-standing practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting in-depth client consultations and providing strategic advice on visa pathways and eligibility
* Preparing, lodging, and managing visa applications across multiple visa categories and review matters
* Managing matters end-to-end with a strong focus on compliance, quality, and client care
* Working collaboratively with legal, migration, and administrative teams
* Contributing to internal process improvements and best practices
* Supporting firm growth through client retention, referrals, and business development initiatives
What We Are Looking For
* Registered Migration Agent (RMA) or holder of a Legal Practising Certificate (LPC)
* Solid working knowledge of Australian migration law and visa frameworks
* A detail-oriented, client-first approach with a commitment to high-quality outcomes
* Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities independently
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities
* A genuine interest in contributing to long-term firm growth
* High ethical, professional, and compliance standards
* Demonstrated experience in complex migration matters is highly desirable
* Multilingual capabilities are advantageous but not essential
