Heavy Vehicle Technician

1. Maintenance, diagnostics and repair of heavy vehicles and equipment.

2. Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance for fleet safety and compliance.
\
3. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
\
4. Accurate service record keeping using fleet management systems.
\
5. Contributing to workshop safety and cleanliness in accordance with WHS policies.

6. Carrying out basic welding and grinding tasks as required.

Requirements

7. Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Diesel Fitter (Cert III or equivalent).
\
8. A valid HR licence.
\
9. Strong understanding of hydraulics and electrics.
\
10. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
\
11. Experience with fleet maintenance and running repairs.
\
12. Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
