About the role:
We are based in Mackay and currently have multiple vacancies for Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join our expanding team in the Mackay area. We are wanting someone to come into this role and make it their own.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* All general servicing tasks
* Diagnosis, repair and maintenance of fleet and ensure readiness for annual machinery inspections.
* Maintain quality and urgency in work performed
* Responding to unscheduled maintenance off site call outs required out of normal business hours
* Follow all safety regulations and precautions
* Complete required paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
Our fleet is made up of:
* Kenworth (primary prime mover)
* Isuzu (primary body truck)
* Western Star
* Volvo
Skills & Experience Required:
* Relevant Trade qualification
* Proven experience is a similar role
* Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills
* A valid HC Driver’s Licence (desired but not essential)
* High level of Initiative, reliability and ability to work independently
* A Strong adherence to quality control
