Clinical Resource Manager Role
A leadership opportunity has arisen in our Operating Suites team for a Clinical Resource Manager to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.
* Manage inventory and procurement of surgical equipment and consumables.
* Oversee the sourcing, maintenance, and replacement of operating suite equipment.
* Develop business cases and models to improve patient care and financial performance.
* Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers for technology and consumables.
* Ensure compliance with health standards and participate in audits and quality activities.
* Facilitate education for staff on equipment use and care.
* Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce variation, and achieve savings.
* Support staff development and maintain safety, governance, and accreditation standards.
About You:
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 is required.
* Experience in an operating suite environment and surgical consumables management is essential.
* Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are necessary.
* Ability to manage budgets and apply lean principles is crucial.
* Sound knowledge of surgical equipment and implantable items is also required.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are vital.
