As General Merchandise Manager at LSKD, you'll sit at the intersection of creative vision and commercial performance, leading our Product & Merchandising function to deliver world-class performance apparel that moves our community 1% Better Every Day.
You'll bring cohesion to the end to end product lifecycle - from creative direction, design and development through planning, buying, sourcing, supply chain and merchandising ensuring every collection is strategic, on-time and financially responsible. With one eye on what's next and the other on data, insights and past performance, you'll guide smart, future-focused decisions that support sustainable growth.
This is a people-first leadership role. You'll bring clarity, structure and direction to a high-performing team, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and build capability at scale. Above all, you'll champion a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement - ensuring our product reflects our brand vision, meets community needs and delivers commercial impact.

LSKD is an Australian-owned and operated brand with our HQ in Loganholme, that prides itself in producing high-quality functional sportswear with a street aesthetic. Ever since our formation we've never been content settling for the norm; we're constantly evolving and challenging the status quo, inspired by the restless few who influence style, shape the future and strive to be 1% better everyday.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
* Lead with LSKD principles and 1% Better mindset, embodying Hungry, Humble and Smart virtues
* Coach, empower, and develop leaders across Design, Product Development, Supply Chain, Creative Direction, and Merchandising
* Set expectations, drive accountability, and foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation
Product, Creative & Go-To-Market
* Oversee the full product lifecycle and seasonal direction across teams
* Align product strategy and Train/Run/Street All Day Active pillars
* Drive Go-To-Market calendar execution and champion product quality, technical innovation, and community insight
Merchandising & Commercial Performance
* Lead merchandising plans to meet business objectives and financial targets
* Analyse trends, competitors, and community behaviour to identify opportunities
* Guide assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to optimise profitability
Supply Chain & Operational Excellence
* Partner with Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and inventory readiness
* Negotiate supplier terms and oversee inventory management to minimise markdown risk
Performance, Data & Financials
* Analyse KPIs, margin performance, and trends to inform decisions
* Present insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team
* Own merchandise and product budgets, driving financial outcomes and optimisation
Cross-Functional Leadership
* Collaborate across Brand, Digital, Retail, Community, and Finance to deliver enterprise-wide success
* Bring clarity and alignment through structured communication and leadership cadence
Essential skills and exposure
* Proven leader of high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams in founder-led or high-growth brands
* Strong communicator and influencer, able to drive alignment and lead change across functions
* Deep expertise in design, product development, merchandising, creative direction, and production
* Experienced in building and executing product strategies that balance creativity, commerciality, and community insight
* Commercially astute with budgeting, margin ownership, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making
* Skilled in managing complex workflows, supplier relationships, and scalable systems for growth
* Thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments with a strategic, big-picture mindset
* Passionate about functional fitness, community engagement, and delivering product that inspires and performs
