About The Role
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor and Estimator to join our team supporting a variety of Construction projects across NSW, Victoria and Vanuatu.
This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing drawings and specifications, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting the successful tendering and delivery of projects.
This is a stable, long-term role suited to someone who values structured processes, clear communication, and quality project planning.
About The Projects
You will work across
* Residential construction
* Commercial building projects
* Civil and infrastructure works
Projects vary in size and complexity, requiring detailed cost breakdowns and careful review of documentation.
Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced estimator with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You are comfortable reviewing drawings, identifying cost risks, and preparing structured estimates.
You are organised, methodical and able to work independently while collaborating with project managers and directors.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Analyse plans, specifications and scope documentation
* Obtain and review subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Identify cost risks and value engineering opportunities
* Assist with project budgeting and cost forecasting
* Maintain accurate cost databases
* Support project handover from tender to construction phase
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a Construction Estimator (2–5+ years preferred)
* Experience in residential, commercial or civil construction
* Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Australian work authorisation required
