- Working on behalf of a major client
**Role Responsibilities**:
Ensures all systems and equipment are tested, and commissioned, in accordance with the applicable documentation
- Execute the tasks agreed with the Commissioning Leader.
- Perform basic SCADA/WFMS commissioning in accordance with documentation with support of SCADA Engineers.
- Perform commissioning activities per our clients procedure
- Troubleshoot and fix WTG commissioning issues.
- Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults.
- Understanding of basic AC/DC electrical circuits and ability to Troubleshoot and conduct circuit analysis.
- Participates in LOTO process as required/directed & comply with all Quality Processes
- Provide information & ensure timely updates
- Be a responsible representative of our clients site while execution & interactions with Customer on site.
- Ensure safety of self and co-workers at work & complete the project goals safely & successfully.
- Adhere to and/or implement Safety Procedures/protocols issued to the site that affect his/her scope of responsibilities in accordance with the Wind EHS Outage Plan.
**About You**:
- You must have a valid A Grade Electrical licence
- GWO basic safety training certificate preferred
- White Card
- Experience on commissioning Wind Turbines or experience of GE control software in other industries highly desirable
- HV operator certification highly desirable
- Commissioning experience, troubleshooting ELV, LV and HV
- Able to work at heights
- Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, construction and commissioning of wind industry.
- Electrical knowledge, able to read and interpret schematics.
- Knowledge of operation of WTG systems such as Pitch system, Yaw system, cooling circuits, elevator, hydraulic systems.
- Ability to prepare and follow Tests and documentation check lists, test plans.
- Must possess a valid Driver's licence
- Experience in Wind projects site construction, with multinational team and subcontractor workforce very desirable.
