Position Summary
The Product Manager is an individual contributor responsible for assisting with the design and execution of the Fund Services business strategy. This role focuses on the technical elements of data models, curation and delivery mechanisms for APAC Client and Regulatory Reporting, Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Performance Reporting, and incorporates AI platforms for APAC clients, initially focusing on Australia but expanding across APAC.
The successful candidate will develop product plans, strategies, and tactics, coordinate product life cycles, identify market opportunities, design new capabilities, and expand market share. The Product Manager will work closely with Finance, Business Execution Services, and Product Development to align the portfolio of work for Fund Accounting and Administration, and may handle ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic roadmap for assigned programs, including development, launch, and engagement with Sales to drive maximum benefit; contribute to achievement of acquisition targets and product financial performance, managing revenue and expenses.
- Manage day‐to‐day product activities for core products: product delivery, client experience, and communication strategies; prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles.
- Contribute to localization and implementation of global Fund Accounting and Administration strategies within APAC.
- Identify differentiation opportunities for APAC operations and clients, and support execution to realize value.
- Provide APAC‐specific insights to influence global strategy and product direction.
- Define and execute data access and distribution strategy for APAC clients, including delivery mechanisms, entitlement frameworks, and client‐facing data services.
- Develop new data distribution channels and self‐service access models that reduce operational dependency and enhance the client experience.
- Advance adoption of a unified data model across APAC, enabling AI‐powered analytics, improving data accuracy, and reducing operational risk.
- Own the client reporting experience for APAC, ensuring consistency, reliability, and accuracy across all fund administration deliverables.
- Support end‐to‐end delivery of transformation programs and projects within APAC, ensuring timely and high‐quality outcomes, especially those driven by AI platforms.
- Identify and execute opportunities and remediate product gaps, ensuring competitiveness.
- Drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances, developing products, and managing vendor relationships.
- Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, protecting the firm's reputation and Safeguarding Citigroup.
- Work closely with the Business Execution team to manage key metrics for the business, including financial, client satisfaction, risk, and control.
- Consolidate information from multiple sources to create a comprehensive view of business performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing across multi‐function and/or global business units.
- Functional experience in marketing, product development, or data analytics.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle unexpected changes.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with data modelling, lineage, and hygiene standards.
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks, large language models, or AI‐driven automation in an operations or reporting context.
- Strong technical understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks, fund accounting principles, financial reporting standards, tax reporting requirements, and performance and risk measurement methodologies.
- Proven experience with data architecture, data governance, and data quality initiatives in financial data for APAC markets.
Education
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
