Hardware Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Technician to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hardware and software systems.

Your primary duties will include:

* Ensuring the daily functionality of our hardware and software systems;
* Responding to queries regarding hardware and software issues and determining requirements to provide solutions;
* Ensuring sufficient usage of equipment;
* Assisting with tasks related to computer systems such as installing, testing, repairing, configuring and other required tasks;

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in an electronic, auto or audio-visual technician role, or in an electrical/electronic/technical field. You will also need to have the ability to review equipment, identify errors and provide timely solutions.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work unsupervised. You must also have flexible availability for various shifts including weekends, Public and school holidays.

A current driver's license is a requirement for this position, as well as 1+ years' experience as a hardware technician or in a similar role. Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems are also essential.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

* Experience in electronic, automotive or audio-visual technician roles, or in a relevant electrical/electronic/technical field;
* Experience repairing hardware and/or audio-visual equipment;
* Ability to review equipment, identify errors and provide timely solutions;
* Willingness to perform preventative maintenance and work unsupervised;
* Strong communication, problem-solving and attention to detail;
* Current driver's license;
* 1+ years' hardware technician experience or similar;
* Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems;
* Flexible availability for shifts including weekends and holidays;
* National Police Check completed within the last 30 days;
