We're seeking a dynamic Program Coordinator to lead the expansion and delivery of our School Breakfast Club Program in regional NSW.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the rollout of breakfast clubs in multiple new schools and supporting existing programs across NSW, collaborating with primary and high school wellbeing or student support teams to implement and sustain the program.
Excellent communication skills will be essential to this role as the Program Coordinator will liaise with school communities, internal teams, NSW Health and Department of Education, maintain strong communication with philanthropic funders and donor teams and bring together student support teams across regions to share ideas and best practices.
The Program Coordinator will also collect and manage reporting data from schools using MS Forms and Excel as well as preparing funder reports and ensure timely communication of program outcomes and manage term-based invoicing.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
* Provide consultation, information, and assistance on referral options for school communities and their young people & families in relation to appropriate programs, services, resources, and information available to support families in their local community.
* Identify opportunities to sustain food program funding and respond to emerging needs of communities where activities are operating, leveraging both internal and external networks to build capacity with service partners in the sector to improve outcomes for children and their families.
* Participate in community activities and events to increase awareness of the benefits of the program
* Engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at both a local and regional level including education and health through coordination of diverse place-based food program initiatives, collaborative service delivery, co-design guidance, and information provision to strengthen and promote the program.
* Coordinate and oversee the financial & reporting administrative requirements of initiative providers across the state including relevant Government Departments.
* Collect, maintain and share clear, accessible and up-to-date information on Mission Australia computer systems and relevant programs documentation.
Requirements for Success:
* Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Community Services, or similar relevant qualification in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience.
* Demonstrated experience coordinating programs, events and activities within a community setting.
* Demonstrated experience working and collaborating effectively with others, ensuring key stakeholders are involved, sharing information and ensuring people are kept informed of progress, changes and issues
* Demonstrated understanding of the challenges and experiences of people from diverse backgrounds including young people who are culturally and linguistically diverse, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and LGBTIQIA+
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including strong administrative skills and proficient use of technology (database, mobile devices).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse regions.
* Current Drivers Licence and willingness to travel across Northen and midcoastal NSW.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
