Competitive Salary: Band 5 - $83,038.80 p.a + 12% superannuation
Location: Corporate Centre in Sandringham, with the flexibility to work from home

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing Systems Support Officer to join our Corporate Services division. Reporting to the Workplace Health & Safety Lead, this role provides high-level administrative and project support to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HS&W) team. You'll coordinate safety documentation, communications, events, and initiatives across the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
* Maintaining and enhancing OHSMS documentation and safety records
* Administering the incident reporting system and supporting staff access
* Coordinating WHS Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
* Collating and presenting data in visual reports using tools like Power BI
* Supporting WorkCover and Return to Work processes, including financial transactions and insurance renewals
* Assisting in the delivery of wellbeing initiatives and events, including logistics and reporting
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
* Strong administrative and coordination skills with a high attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally across all levels
* Experience in customer-centric support and service delivery
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn systems such as Power BI, Copilot, and HSI DoneSafe
* Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and contribute to a team environment
* Cert IV in OHS or working towards (advantageous)
Mandatory pre-employment requirements
* Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check
* Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
