The Role
The role provides professional leadership, supervision and service coordination, contributes to program development and service improvement, and works collaboratively with government and community partners to ensure high‐quality, child‐safe, and integrated service delivery in line with legislative and practice standards.
The Team
The Children and Young Persons' Program (CHYPP) provides specialist counselling and support to children, young people and their families who have experienced family violence. You will join a committed, multidisciplinary team working collaboratively across statewide services.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership, supervision and professional support to multidisciplinary clinicians
* Coordinate specialist counselling and support services for children and young people
* Monitor workflow, service demand and performance
* Lead quality improvement initiatives and support best‐practice service delivery
* Collaborate with statewide teams, internal services and external partners
* Contribute to the development and implementation of interventions and programs
What You Will Bring
* Leadership experience working with children, young people and their families
* Experience supervising clinicians in family violence or related settings
* Strong communication, collaboration and service coordination skills
* Commitment to quality improvement and trauma‐informed practice
Essential Criteria
* Tertiary qualification or programme of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia and registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or
* Tertiary qualification or programme of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and registered with the Psychology Board of Australia; or
* Tertiary qualification or programme of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and a full member of AASW or eligible for membership with the AASW
* Current Working with Children Registration
Desirable Criteria
* Current Driver's Licence

Salary and Benefits
* Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
* Salary packaging includes living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, subject to qualification and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
