As our Maritime portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a hands‐on Electronic/Combat Systems Technician to join our expanding team in Garden Island, NSW. These roles offer the opportunity to work across Maritime programs contributing to the update, integration and delivery of complex naval systems, including the coordination of sensors, weapons, communications, and command systems to function as a cohesive Combat System.

This role supports the advanced radar and weapon control systems (Aegis Combat System (ACS) SPY-1D(V) Radar and Weapon Control System) on the Hobart Class DDGs, working at the forefront of integrated air and missile defence capability.
This opportunity suits experienced Field Service Technicians, Electronics Technicians, Systems Technicians or Engineers who enjoy:

* Operating in customer‐facing and operational environments
About you
* Although experience in Aegis Combat Systems or naval combat systems is highly desirable, transferable skills in other relevant electronic systems will be highly regarded.
* Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic capability
* Ability to work independently in field‐based environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong understanding of networking protocols, radar systems, sensor or sonar systems, radio/communications or data transmission, and data management
Key responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and resolve radar and weapon control system issues
* Support system updates, system testing and integration activities
* Provide technical support through Light‐off activities and system assessment
* Analyse system faults and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Support system configuration, maintenance and performance optimisation
* Contribute to operational procedures and capability enhancements
